Windsurfing: Pevensey Bay Wind Direction: SW - WSW Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: flat(ish) Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny & windy Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Nice session at Pevensey Bay. Arrived bang on high tide but wind ever so
slightly cross-offshore so no shorebreak. Rigged 6.4m Remedy on the Rocket
115, but also pre-empted (showed real optimism) it being windier so rigged
5.6m Remedy on the 3S97 too.
One quick out and back and the bigger kit seemed ideal, but being a proper
wind guinea pig, took the smaller set up out also. Wasn't quite enough
really so switched back onto the bigger kit for 30 mins before wind picked
up enough to warrant changing to the smaller kit.
Enjoyed 2-3 hours on the smaller set up before wind switched a bit more
cross-off so hopped back onto the bigger kit for another 30 mins or so.
Hard a cracking afternoon in the sunshine, firstly sailing with VFW Mark,
and then as he slid off to go sell some more vans, another Mark was rigged
up and ready to play.
Nice session, really quite windy out the back too ... good company, good
weather, great sport !
